The passport
A WineDown DC passport is a curated guide to five of Washington’s wine bars for the Fall 2026 season, which runs from October 15, 2026 through January 15, 2027. Each participating venue offers passport holders one complimentary 5 oz pour, served by the venue and subject to its own rules and license.
WineDown DC does not sell, serve, or furnish alcohol. The First Edition passport is $30, and the price covers the passport itself. Quantities are limited, and sales may close when the edition sells out.
Age and venue rules
You must be 21 or older to redeem a WineDown DC pour. Partner venues check government-issued ID at every pour, and a passport is not proof of age. Venues may refuse service when required by law, their license, or their house rules.
No refunds
All sales are final. WineDown DC does not issue refunds, reimbursements, credits, transfers, or cash alternatives for any reason, including unused passports, missed venues, refusal of service, loss of access, scheduling conflicts, venue changes, or season expiration.
Using the passport
Each venue page can be redeemed once. Redemptions are recorded at the venue and cannot be moved to another venue or reset after use. You are responsible for keeping access to the email address used for purchase and sign-in.
Changes and availability
We work to keep venue information current, but hours, service availability, and venue participation can change. WineDown DC may update site content, operating details, or these terms as needed.
